Gary is spot on and it is not just a UK condition. Wealth inequality is the highest it has been since WWI. We all need Gary to work with the institue Robert Reich set up so that he can give the UK/EU perspective.

Another problem with this is that price increases are sticky. Even if the tariffs go away businesses will be slow, if ever, to lower prices. Higher prices also change consumer behavior. People will change what they buy and are unlikely to change back.
