Gee, who would've thought that recklessly firing vast swaths of federal employees could have negative consequences? Certainly not VERY SUCCESSFUL businessmen like Trump and Musk...

What would make healthcare cost less: employers paying a for-profit system with insurance double-dipping from premium-payers and the government and limiting care to what's profitable, or EVERYONE being insured by government leveraging it's power to force better results for Americans?

Another reason this must end SOONER rather than LATER! Thanks to Europe for aid efforts: now let's get busy, my fellow Americans! We have a traitor to remove and a Congress to change from Republicans to Americans so we can do what America does and HELP DEMOCRACY (here and there!)

You keep logic, intelligence and provable economics out of this! RepubliCult doesn't want to hear your facts! (they have "alternative facts," after all, to entertain themselves!)

So sad: I remember when (R) was the "law and order" Constitution and Bible party and (D) was the "tax and spend" party. Like (R), I believe in smaller government, but UNLIKE the RepubliCult, I ALSO believe that government should WORK, and FOR ALL AMERICANS, AND that we should honor our Constitution.

Saw a story about a little kid here whose family was contacted by Italy re: experimental treatment for rare issue. Treatment costs were (of course) astronomical, but Italy was LESS worried about "YOU PAY NOW!" than saving Keira Riley's life.
Interesting story: look up "Right To Try" legislation.

If universal healthcare worked, OTHER wealthy nations would do it: everyone knows that medicine requires shareholder and corporate profits to be effective!
Penicillin, as you know, also requires puréed dollar bills as titrate for efficacy. If non-medical ppl aren't profiting, is it REALLY medicine?

Serious question: are any non-(R)s working on an ACTUAL budget and tax code overhaul to BALANCE the budget in 2027? Clinton did it: it *CAN* be done, but it will take ACTUAL Americans working for AMERICA, so obviously RepubliCultists will not do it (still using Pelosi budget post-DOGE. LAZY FUX!)

government meeting in a government building seems to push the boundaries for separation of church and state, as long as EVERY religion is allowed to participate eventually, it seems democratic. But only allowing ONLY ONE faith to pray --even MY faith!-- seems *literally* "Establishment."

The 1st Amendment doesn't just allow freedom OF religion: it allows freedom FROM it. History showed them that a State Religion was NOT the way, and that to follow our ideals of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" might not include a religion for EVERYONE here.

I follow Jesus. I understand that most of the world does not. Our Founders had a variety of belief systems, and many (most?) were NOT Christians. While Jesus taught us the importance of EACH person and that we are stronger with faith and an unwavering moral compass, MANY OTHER faiths teach the same!

workplaces, and help schools become better for their and ALL kids, we need homes where people can AFFORD to live and BUY homes. The primary source of intergenerational wealth for most Americans is the family home (not all of us have a daddy who gives us a half-million to "start").

Barriers to first time home ownership:
High home prices.
Availability of affordable homes.
As long as FAMILIES are competing with CORPORATIONS for the same houses, the FAMILIES --and America-- loses. If we want stable neighborhoods where families can BEGIN and GROW, support the local tax base and
