Spent a majority of the day learning about Spatial Audio Emissions and Particle Systems in @gamemaker.io . I feel like it's been extremely helpful learning day as I am now able to greatly enhance the immersion within #ToTheTrenches Here is a small clip of a German A7Z Tank. #IndieDev #GameDev

As a #Godot Junior 👶 I was extremely proud to create a working #Football team system. I found myself with 10 scenes, each with 5 nodes with the only difference being attribute values. Today, after applying inheritance I was able to significantly clean up the project. #GameDev #IndieDev

Added some camera effects to really bring out the depth of the stadium. Found out earlier that I needed to import my 3D assets uncompressed, or else everything looks completely off. Can't wait to continue dialing in the atmospheric elements. #Godot #IndieDev #GameDev #Football

My first attempt at creating route lines in #Godot. I have a scene for the specific Offensive play that has several Node3D nodes for each route-runner. Within those nodes I have a Path3D and CSGPolygon3D node that draws the route. Not sure if its efficient, but it's definitely a start! #GameDev

Implemented the Phantom Camera plugin into my #Godot project. I've set it to stay with the football. This also allowed me to start playing with different camera angles to dial in what I think will work best for this game. I ain't much but it's honest #GameDev #IndieDev #Football

I took a small break from #GameDev to work on improving my skills as a #WebDev. I didn't want to do the typical routine of using Flask or React, so I chose to use Go this time. It was my first time using and I had an absolute blast! There's still much to learn, but I'm excited 💪😎 chumba.dev

Started the process of making a functional field with yardage and a line of scrimmage. Not only that, formations are finally connected with the line of scrimmage for proper positioning between offense and defense. #IndieDev #GameDev #Football

We have quite a bit of work to do to get #ToTheTrenches ready for a PC launch, but it's pretty cool to see the game on a 49" monitor. Next step would be to have the camera span the entire battlefield on ultra-wide monitors. Will post updates on that soon! #indieDev #GameDev #WW1 #PCGaming #mobile
