Interesting how the commercial fishery group immediately started high-fiving themselves.

Chef Jose Andre had a nice one when he had his cooking show. I found the video, the empanada is around 24:00 in. The picture attached is the one I made a couple years ago. Delicious! www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4RD...

You can take comfort in the fact that the chipmunk has a back door, a side door, a stage door and a delivery entrance. You might get away with fixing it.

I remember being at a Polo For Heart match and Peter C. Newman sat a few tables over. One of my colleagues said, "Mulroney HATES him."

Onion headline aside, my daughter was set to fly domestic home for Christmas, but had misplaced her birth certificate & her passport was expired. The CATSA (Canadian TSA) lady suggested getting a fishing license. Took a couple of days, and she was able to fly home.

It was at the top of the charts in 1968 (my parents played it a lot), but I remember a vocal version, too. My mom must have randomly sung it. Blue, blue, my world is blue Blue is my heart, when I'm without you... So I looked around, & there was a vocal version in Eurovision by Vicky Leandros.

I remember that when I was a kid. Wasn't it part of a movie score at the time?

In Canada, Orange Shirt Day is at the end of September, to recognize Indigenous children who suffered in Residential Schools. It's been in place since 2013. However, as a Canadian, I support any form of protest against him violence.

I made this. Nobody bought it, and it didn't win a prize at the art show. But it makes me smile every time I look at it.

I just saw that! I've been waiting for my birthday cheque with plans to go have Sarah's name put on the Sceptres jersey I got for Christmas. Now I'll have to pick someone else.

Aw, that's too bad. But hey, the rain will keep the fires away. Here's one of me and my dad about 25 years ago, on a 3 hour ride, with the town of Oliver behind us.

I got a picture of that sculpture, too! Did you stop in Penticton at all? My dad lived there and my stepmom still does. The beach is nice.
