Thank you so much for responding!
I think this is what I'll do!

I’m wondering should I offer this to those already in my audience who are, otherwise only there for political commentary?
I think I’d publish it on its own dedicated substack, perhaps a chapter at a time?
Is it weird to offer this to my existing audience? Is it annoying?

You are definitely right about MTG, Graham, Boebert. No argument from me there.
My point is that if there was even 1 congress member who changed their vote because of fear: Then American Democracy is not working and it must be repaired. To the exclusion of all other issues, this must be addressed.

Thank you for calling. The United States is currently closed for repairs.

This made me laugh.
I hope the actual repairs start soon!

That's the thing though, I dont think he is blackmailing them. I think they are genuinely afraid of the retribution of the MAGA lunatics, and I think there is a legitimate threat of violence.
That threat is what has to be addressed.

And in case you've noticed. Yeah, I post in fits and starts.
The truth is I have young children and a demanding day-job, and pretending to be a journalist is a time-consuming hobby!

Politics should be like your favorite shoes, comfortable, durable, you put them on and you forget them.

I’ve thought this, but I worry that it’s legitimate to ask “will they even care?”
The people who were screaming hoarse about the price of eggs now seem totally fine with needless destruction of value and jobs. Toyota and Honda are closing factories because of these tariffs.

This is absolutely the case, and you’re not alone in thinking about it,
I’ve written about it (open.substack.com/pub/chyron/p... — see the final section “Recommit to the moderate”
And I’ve seen Mark Cuban saying it on here too and many others. When we vote we win.

Exactly, I genuinely can’t stop thinking about people in your situation who can’t afford for this moron to have his finger on the button for another 4 years.
My superannuation (401k) has tanked but I’ve got another 20 years to hopeful things improve.
