ΰͺœβ€βž΄ what book brings you back to your childhood? i had a brief phase where i was obsessed with the diary of a wimpy kid series. i bought the first 3 books when they released. maybe i should revisit them… 🀭 #BookishQOTD πŸ“–πŸ¦‹ #Booksky πŸ’™πŸ“š

ΰͺœβ€βž΄ what books are you going to read this month? which has been on your tbr the longest? i have 18 physical books on my bookshelf that’ve been collecting dust because i haven’t read them yet. i also plan on reading β€˜a christmas carol’ for my monthly classic! #BookishQOTD πŸ“–πŸ¦‹ #Booksky πŸ’™πŸ“š

ΰͺœβ€βž΄ what is your favorite place to read and why? my bed because i can be curled up under the covers with my kindle and be so comfy! sometimes i don’t move for hours lol #BookishQOTD πŸ“–πŸ¦‹ #Booksky πŸ’™πŸ“š

ΰͺœβ€βž΄ do you prefer books set in historical, contemporary, or futuristic time periods? i’m a mix between historical and contemporary. i rarely read futuristic time periods. #BookishQOTD πŸ“–πŸ¦‹ #Booksky πŸ’™πŸ“š

my cousin and my dad are eating thanksgiving dinner with tortillas 🀭

ΰͺœβ€βž΄ what's one book you are thankful for? what impact has it made on your life? this may sound silly but i’m thankful for junie b. jones books. reading those books in the school library is how i learned how to read in english & made me fall in love with reading. #BookishQOTD πŸ“–πŸ¦‹ #Booksky πŸ’™πŸ“š

my cousin’s boyfriend keeps texting the family group chat asking who’s bringing the horchata tomorrow and i can’t stop laughing at him every single time 😭🀣

7 books to define my taste (2024) in no particular order #Booksky πŸ’™πŸ“š

i love cheese

ΰͺœβ€βž΄ share an image of your bookshelves! remember alt text. mine are too messy but i do enjoy looking at others’ bookshelves for inspo. #BookishQOTD πŸ“–πŸ¦‹ #Booksky πŸ’™πŸ“š

ΰͺœβ€βž΄ what is your favorite non-human species to read about? this can be any creature ie., fae, vampires, dragons, etc! i don’t read a lot about non-humans but i do enjoy magical ones! or even vampires too… particularly a certain series. #BookishQOTD πŸ“–πŸ¦‹ #Booksky πŸ’™πŸ“š

i waited weeks to get to read this!! this may or may not be a reading thread idk!!! #Booksky πŸ’™πŸ“š ➸ cr: black sun (between earth and sky, #1) by rebecca roanhorse

all i really know about this book going in is that the main character is indigenous. ya thrillers are usually a hit or miss for me so let’s see what this one is about! ➸ cr: looking for smoke by k.a. cobell #Booksky πŸ’™πŸ“š

ok so wtf is arcane /gen

56% into this book and i’m already angsty and then i learned there’s a sequel that was published later on in the series??? 😩😭

i never understood trying so hard to fit in with the β€˜popular’ crowd at school & the book i’m reading is making me hate a 15 year old character so bad. she’s so horrible to her sister, the 17 year old protagonist, like she literally abetted in her sister’s public humiliation & assault at school 😭
