As someone who studied German at a Welsh University, who married a German, & has half-German kids, I find it unfathomable Cardiff Uni would cut modern languages entirely. Especially when it has the ££ to avoid doing so.👇

@UCU’s @DrJoGrady quoted in these big splashes in the the Western Mail, & the South Wales Echo. Vice Chancellor Wendy Larner “needs to cut her own £290,000 salary before she attacks the hard-working staff who keep the University going.” The Uni’s trashing its own reputation, as well as its staff.
