I am a non-native speaker of English, but let me write poems using English words here, because that could be fun (sometimes the grammar might not be that of English). I also write poems in Japanese: @cirpoem.bsky.social

Thanks! I didn't realize it before but yeah, it does go well with the rhythm of hopscotch! 😊

Thank you so much again for your encouraging words!! 😆

That sounds like a great way to teach both standard format and how to develop a unique voice!😊

Your comments also encouraged me a lot😊 I am more motivated to keep writing! (although I couldn't write much this week because of other busy stuff...) I also read works of Murakami😊

Thank you for your encouraging words😊 It is very motivating to hear from a native-speaker like you that what I'm trying to do is not wrong.

Thank you so much for offering help with my grammar. That's very kind of you! While I strive for grammatical correctness in some poems (though I might make mistakes), others are intentionally unnatural. Some readers might not enjoy broken English, but I use it to distinguish myself from others😊

Buddhism was initially very much influenced by ancient Indian philosophy or religion, so perhaps there are realms of thoughts where both share 😊

It reflects Buddhist perspective, although I am not a Buddhist😊

Good for you that you had that chance to learn English in a good circumstance. I love Robert Frost's poems too😊

It is interesting to hear that one can write a better poem in second language than in native language😆

Thank you for asking, but I'm not in a position to offer suggestions to you. Your poems already look very good! 😊 I believe you just have to be yourself, different from others. So, in my case, I feel like it's a journey to find myself.

Hi Angelika😊 I have been writing poems in Japanese and now I am challenging myself to write in English, which I find difficult😆 It is great to hear that you can write different forms of literature in both your native language and English😊
