Why haven’t Ds used every procedural and rules mechanism possible in the Senate to slow or stop Trump? If it were the other way round there would me massive obstruction on confirmation votes, norms and comity be dammed.

Why? Literally that is a life or death matter for people who have them. Not funny at all if government tries to pretend they don’t exist, cut funding for research or protections for people with this disability.

In the United States of America today, you can do whatever you want and get away with it — as long as you're either Donald J. Trump or pledge fealty to him. From breaches of Congressional decorum to cutting child cancer research to assaulting cops. A complete abomination of the Founders' work.
