FWIW if we're not including the new signings I would only rate 4 players above a 5/10 this season, Haaland, Savinho, Stones and Gvardiol, they've been our only players better than average this season imo. So I've got multiple players on terrible seasons. Maybe a pod ranking the players is due?

That I can agree, doesn't fit our style of play at all. His passing for a centre mid playing regularly is the worst we've had under Pep.

Judging performances no he's not; Bernardo, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Doku, Kovacic & Grealish have been worse. But apart from Kovacic and maybe Doku, I can make a better excuse for the rest of them. It's expectations, we need a peak Silva/KDB and most think it should be him, he is only 24 though.

Yes to run games positioning could be an issue, I definitely don't want to see him on the left again but I still think he could do more out wide. Go at his man more, use his feint, get his body in the way. Could be being harsh but he has the talent to do more.

I think he's been one of our worst players this season relative to the excuses that can be made. He's not old, not his first season, maybe it's expectations are too high. FWIW a lot of our squad have had terrible seasons compared to the standards they have set in recent years. He'll come good again.

Got to be honest, I think he's been terrible this season. Don't know whether he's carrying an injury or there's stuff of off the pitch but he's not been right. He should be running games the way Odegaard does or the way David Silva used to. He'll come good again but we need more consistency.

Terrifying and just disgusting to be honest.
I'd like to think that British and European views will be put stop to any deal he tries to do with Russia on Ukraine.

Oof, there'll be a few devastated at that news.

Try a young defender with pace would be my preferred option.
Keep Stones in the middle with Nico.

I don't mind it, possession wise it's much stronger, taken Kovacic and Nunes out who are 2 of our weaker passers.

It'll be Akanji with Stones, Dias, Gvardiol. Although he really isn't playing well. Just too soon for AK.

Much needed win, especially with us and Newcastle lurking, looking like a top 5 contender.

He genuinely loves the game, understands the game and was a great player on top of that.

Could get them in the quarters...the pair of us would have to perform miracles in the next 2 rounds though!

Can only think he was thinking safety first but with our current midfield options we don't have any safety.

Anything less than a win and we're out.

Win and we're through as we'll go above Brugge and at least 1 of PSG or Stuttgart.
We can finish anywhere between 19th-23rd with a win. The draw is on Friday for the playoffs.
9th/10th can be drawn against 23rd/24th.
11th/12th v 21st/22nd and so on.

Don't miss X, don't care if I get the news 5 minutes later, just nice to not be on a platform full of misinformation, violence etc...

I think Rodri back and 2 more midfielders solves it.
Sell Kovacic in the summer, let Gundo go, bring 2 new midfielders in.
Kev is still good enough, unfortunately I love Bernardo but his powers are waning too.

Not good enough and been apparent since he came in.
With a stronger squad he could get cup game minutes, he's not Kalvin Phillips level bad but he is Europa League and below level.

True but 6 games in the groups stages and half the teams go out feels miles better than 8 games for a third to go out. It's so long-winded.

He'll get the league cup run, 1-0 up with a trip to Anfield to come, lost that and he's in trouble. They'd have took a trophy before the season (as long as they don't go down - they shouldn't go down).

I've considered this a few times for special occasions, not pulled the trigger yet. You'll have to share how it was.
