Siren RPG Beta 2.2.0 has been released! Grab it while it's hot! github.com/ElectricCoff...

If you are able, speak up on behalf of your friends and colleagues who are in a precarious position and do what you can to push leadership to do the right things. It hasn’t lead to anything public but I sent a message to my CEO. Silence is obeying in advance

Not only is X a nazi bar, it’s organized and funded IP theft. Musk is stealing your IP and for the worst people on the internet to monetise

Starting a new job is always difficult. New faces, new names, new culture to acclimate to, and a new code base to learn. Worst of all however is less time and energy to work on games. My dream of having my latest project ready by start February is flushed down the drain. At least the food is good.

Trans rights are human rights, and human rights are non-negotiable.

I’m not a publisher, but I think it’s vital, now more than ever, to stand up and affirm again: trans rights are human rights. And punch nazis, to boot. My heart goes out to everyone in the US living in fear right now - but standing together, and standing up for each other, is crucial

Not a publisher but. Trans rights are and will always be human rights. If you disagree with this notion, leave.

For me it wasn't any one particular game, instead it was two friends from university who kept inviting me to board gaming events. We played Blood Rage, Eclipse, Catan, Love Letter, D&D, and many more. Without those friends in uni, I'd never be where I am today

Prototyping new ideas is always fun and is I great way to see what works and what doesn't. For this prototype I very quickly narrowed it down from 15 to 9 game pieces and changed it from all identical to groups of 3 different. The game length came down quite fast!

My prototypes for a professionally printed version of Boat came back great! You can get yours at The Game Crafter www.thegamecrafter.com/games/boat-a...

Remember, kids. Game design is 57% art 28% science 69% faffing about thinking about other things 11% scrolling social media 32% arguing 16% tears 48% math Took 25 years, but I got these down EXACTLY

Happy Yuletide everyone! I hope you all have a good one ❤️

Stop Forcing A.I. into Fucking EVERYTHING!

SURPRISE! ✨ I’ll have not 1, but 2 games for sale at the Indie Games Night Market!! My friend Manny Dominguez is selling his line of Pico Games™️ so small they fit inside a Pez dispenser! Shoefly Pie is a rummy-style family game for 2-4p. The first to eat their way to dessert is the winner!

Last night's Quaternion Tricks playtest went well. The game needs some work but that's what testing is for! It's two games. Game A is a point trick taker. Game B is a trick prediction game.

Testing out an idea for a climbing/shedding game that uses the mechanisms of domino line building

Mark from Riffle Shuffle and Roll made another excellent how to play video of one of my games! youtu.be/n0PjZryZZcA?...

There we go. I totally forgot you could set your own domain as your handle on here. So now it's no longer @\cityharestudio.bsky.social, but simply @\cityhare.studio :)

SO incredibly proud of my mentee from @unpub.bsky.social mentorship program releasing her very first game to the world!! Please check out her game—and share all the kudos for finishing her first game!! ✨ 🎲✂️

The bar for getting into game design is practically on the floor. If you have an idea and a few loose components give it a go and see if your idea works!

Not sure where to start on a game design? Make up an arbitrary restriction. Focus yourself on one kind of component. How many can you use? Is it played with or without a board? Can it be played while standing in line? Arbitrary restriction make my creative solutions-brain to explode with ideas 🎲✂️

I made a thing! 😄 Biscuits is a 4 player fixed partnership ladder climbing game using a regular deck of cards. BGG page : boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/42... Rules doc, player aid, & playingcards.io file linked below

Custodian Dice is in its final testing stages!

Marceline is amazing! Please hire her.

Apologies for not posting much. I am currently doing playtests for a new shedding game that uses James Ernest's Knotts deck for 3-5 players. I'm ironing out the worst kinks before releasing it for wider testing.

The board game industry is wild because it has some of the most passionate creators in every aspect of its existence. Designers, developers, publishers, content creators, game reviewers and critics, an entire ecosystem of in-person and online communities . . . and almost no one is making money.

Working on a new project. It'll be available on the game crafter later this year
