Woke too early and want to fret and complain about many things in public but instead just to update: got the final panel of my knitted corset experiment cast on yesterday! Panel 10/10; the last substantial pieces (eyelet bands) will be crocheted after seaming. So I might know if it fits this month!

I received my kumihimo supplies and have made my swatch for measurements! (For my 16-strand weave with C-lon beading cord, I'll round up to double my final length and remember I need at least four extra inches to comfortably weave to the bitter end.) First attempt, so also got a little too singed.

Practicing misleading statistics on myself by balancing my budget with the Adobe subscription added last--no, I'm not in the red because of my most recent craft supply purchase that's about $10 more than the negative balance, it's definitely all the After Effects' fault. It's nothing, just six rounds of the narrowest point of this sweater and one semi-involved cast on, no problem to frog. Just kinda funny that as of last night, the one task in my life that I could unequivocally say was going well...I discovered today I had used the wrong sized needles in the dark.
