All of this performative and evil waste of taxpayer dollars, just because hiring more immigration judges and fixing the slow parts of the existing system wasn't deemed cruel and demeaning enough. I hope those cheering this on receive the same amount of empathy and compassion when their turn comes.

Now we're in the "wait and see" portion of the new server install. If you look at the CPU credits decline at the end, there's a smooth one and rough one. The rough one was me building the creator graph - 100% reasonable. The smooth one, however is a different story...

Taking a break from Real Work to do some Computer Science. One of the things that I miss from early @freshcomics.us was the collaboration network between creators who shared issues or trades. As the database grew (and the creator list as well), my first algorithm didn't keep up.

Server load is looking good. A fresh launch is where we often see the most resource usage, as caches and thumbnails haven't been generated yet. I've seen analogies to seasoning cast iron pans in the past. So far, so good though.
