Woke up this morning to gay techno blasting outside my window (Chicago's Pride parade stages right in front of my place), and I didn't know if I'd wake up in CPU jail with @freshcomics.us. Fortunately, the site pulled out of its stall overnight.

The AI guys really poisoned the well for the SEO guys. I learned how to effectively block the AI guys from crawling my site too aggressively, and I've turned those same weapons on the SEO guys running their own private crawlers. Puts an interesting spin on the Dead Internet Theory.

Just earned another Achievement. Context: I have a library for Django called "Simple Messaging" that I wrote to abstract a lot of messaging-related infrastructure away. After I made my Nth "incoming messages" and "outgoing messages" bespoke tables, I figured it was time to just make that a library.

Didn't see the CPU credits recovery like I was hoping for in @freshcomics.us - BUT on the plus side, I didn't see an outage like last night either. Doing some fiddling today to see what I can do to reverse this trend. Still getting hit heavily by bots, so we still may be warming up.

I was gonna quibble because I love quibbling about religion stuff, and the Catholic Church is not evangelical Christianity, so that’s fun, but the functional results the catechism gives to the Antichrist do describe the American situation. Religious deception, apostasy, etc.
