It's time to consider how you can help when/if needed. Scary times.

First yeah! Second, sad to see the empty book shelves behind Justin Trudeau.

I know it's boring but connecting electricity systems between countries is really useful. It: * allows simpler balancing for high renewables systems * means less fossil fuel gets used * lowers bills Simpler and less resources than e.g. loads of batteries www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025...

How can anyone trust America ever again? Ever? www.reuters.com/world/us/tru...

Love it. Trump described as a “carnival barker.”

It would be helpful if more people understood renewable energy is actually an extremely disruptive technology and the reason monied interests are trying to make folks hate it is that they are the ones which will be disrupted.

Now and for ever.

“What he wants is to see a total collapse of the Canadian economy, because that'll make it easier to annex us." This is the most extraordinary statement by a Canadian prime minister in the history of this country. The Trump administration is at war with Canada.

No they did not gamble any more than the US did — they contracted terms under a treaty, the most recent version of which they negotiated with the guy who has now sucker-punched them and us by breaking it for no credible reason with these catastrophic tariffs

Fuck off with this headline, CNN. We didn't "escalate" anything by defending ourselves.

Welcome to the age of US ignorance. May it be short. Time to define our 🇨🇦 future with less reliance (read no) on the US.

Canadians will remember. Americans turned their back on trusted friends and look to curry favour from Russia.

Elbows up Canada. Elbows up.

Canadian friends, this is an important read! I agree with the premise. Canada must hold true to our values but rethink what we do, how we do it, and who we do it with. We should have been on this years ago. The second best time is now.

The world has witnessed the most disgraceful political tantrum of all time. Trump is not the leader of the "free world." He is convicted felon who doesn't deserve to be in the same room as President Zelenskyy. There is no going along to get along with this thug. Canada needs to stand with Ukraine.

After threatening tariffs on the EU, President Trump has postponed Canadian tariffs for another 30 days. He seems to enjoy the chaos this creates. There's the thing—businesses like certainty. Investments don't happen under chaotic conditions, not even in the US. youtu.be/KXzF70-l8mw

I trust an export tax on Canadian fertilizer is among the retaliatory measures considered. This is in my wheelhouse. Our exports head to the US to support their agricultural industry. It's un-Canadian of me to say this, but ‘Hit the US where it will be impactful.’

Oh no. Cue Danielle Smith, showering the president with praise while criticizing our prime minister, despite the clear threat to our sovereignty.

If you want evidence that those around Trump are telling him what he wants to hear and not the truth, this is it. There is no movement; in fact, quite the opposite.

For any doubters out there. Trump has his eyes on Canada.

The question is: Do we stand alone?

This is the biggest Canada/Russia game since the 72 Challenge Series. 🇨🇦 🇷🇺 🇺🇸

Why do I feel like we are marching toward another world war? Prompted by the price of eggs. www.cbc.ca/news/world/t...

"A charm offensive is part of the persuasion campaign. What the premiers did at the White House was not that; it was more like trying to ask the popular girl to the prom by making the pitch to her best friend’s cousin’s neighbour. Good luck. Hope you get a refund on the corsage."

How do they pivot their messaging to express patriotism without alienating their base? Second thought, would they believe it?
