Jinba is inside Firing Zone 918, where residents have fought a legal battle in Israeli courts for the right to remain in their homes. This is a joint effort by Israel and the extremist settler movement to ethnically cleanse the Palestinian village of Jinba, and all Palestinians from Masafer Yatta.

There have been reports from local Palestinians that:
- Settlers arrived with the army
- Security cameras, like the ones that filmed the settler attack on Friday, were deliberately damaged
- More arrests were made
- The gates to animal pens were breached so that the village’s sheep would run away

After the settler attack today, over 20 Israeli arrived to Jinba and arrested 22 Palestinians who are now being interrogated.
Over and over again, we see Palestinians brutally attacked by settlers, and the army response is to arrest Palestinians and ignore the settlers’ crimes. 4/
