Welcome to the upside-down land of America in 2025: where just talking about bringing weapons to a bar fight gets you in trouble, but bringing an actual chainsaw to a political convention gets applause.

Most Americans are against the current administration's reckless “slash and burn” approach. If we could band together we might shut down this fascist takeover. Individual voices and actions are important, but we need to make this such a LARGE and LOUD chorus that it’s impossible to ignore!

This is a beautiful painting and just what we needed to see today. Art, nature, and music help to soothe the soul!

I know this is a really small consideration in the grand scheme of things, but one of the items on my bucket list was to someday visit all the national parks. Given current cuts, it feels like that goal may be slipping into the realm of riding a unicorn.

Sounds like some of the people who mocked the “woke” concept are beginning to wake up. More Town Halls like this, please! Let's make some NOISE!!

#GoodNewsFridayRoundup: 1) Appeals court rejected Trump’s attempt to revive EO ending birthright citizenship; 2) Indigenous activist Leonard Peltier released from prison after nearly 50 years; 3) MeidasTouch is the most popular podcast this month, and 4) Emperor Zero’s poll are sinking

One of many valid concerns in our current plight: “I don’t know how you raise kids today when you have a bully-in-chief.” – Stephanie Miller

Maintaining mental and physical health amid this madness is an act of defiance. I’m determined to stay strong for myself, my family, and my community. And resistance includes creating a little joy each day to counteract the chaos!

Happy Friday, Bluesky!

I can’t relate to people whose primary motivation is to “own the libs”, even if it ends up making their own lives more miserable. I don’t want to “own” anybody. I want EVERYONE to have basic things like access to healthcare, enough to eat, and opportunities to make a livable wage. Is that radical?

The last line of this article sums it up nicely: "Now is the moment to recognize the scale of the seismic change unfolding, and to find new ways to live in the world that a very different kind of America is beginning to create."

This is a letter everyone should read. Thank you to Marc for sharing it, and for all he's doing to fight against authoritarianism.

Love this painting of Merrill Hall! Such a pretty place to visit!

Millions of us are standing with Ukraine, and are disgusted by the latest string of treasonous lies coming from Emperor Zero. Zelenskyy deserves our respect. He’s proven his leadership skills and devotion to his country – while the US is stuck with Putin’s puppet. #SlavaUkraini

Sending out mid-week hugs to everyone who is struggling today or just needs to know someone cares.

It’s time to remind our representatives who they work for. During this week’s congressional recess, we’re hosting events across the nation (including Tesla dealerships). Find an event near you: www.mobilize.us/indivisible/... Everything you need to know is in our toolkit: indivisible.org/muskorus

Taking a mental break to go look at the ocean today. Just need a bit of nature before reconnecting with reality!

Through his generous donations, Michael Jordan (who turned 62 yesterday) opened a 4th clinic in North Carolina, bringing much-needed healthcare services to communities with uninsured and underinsured patients. www.goodnewsnetwork.org/michael-jord...

Beautiful artwork -- time for a beach escape!

Anyone else wondering if they should cancel upcoming flights in light of FAA firings?

Emperor Zero said squashing DEI would mean everything would be based on merit. What we have now – across the entire administration – is the exact opposite of a meritocracy.

If you wanted to cut waste, fraud, and abuse, you would empower the inspectors general. If you wanted more waste, fraud, and abuse, you would fire them.

This CBS Sunday Morning segment is worth watching. It offers a concise and compelling response to those who mistakenly think government should be run like a business. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijvr...

There might be a short-lived golden age for oligarchs, but if we don’t find a way to stop the barbarians already breaching the gates, the rest of us may be sliding into the dark ages.
