How dare he? Because he's morally bankrupt. And, in allying himself - and his country - with Putin, he's sold his rotten, rancid soul to the Devil.

I know. I'm glad Zelenskyy has walked out. Good for him. If that's how they treated him on live TV, God knows how they treated him in private. Zelenskyy is made of stern stuff, thank God!

It truly is. Sadly I wasn't at all surprised T & V behaved so badly. I'd have been more shocked if they'd behaved well. Odious people. They insulted him so much it's as if they were trying to make it impossible for him to sign, yet they really want the minerals. They're both morally bankrupt & thick

I've just seen the press conference with Trump, Vance and Zelensky. It was appalling. They basically bullied him. I hope he doesn't sign the treaty. How can he possibly trust them. They've just demonstrated to the world a total lack of respect. I felt sick watching.

He's basically a strategically shaved orangutan in a suit, isn't he? What I don't understand is how anyone could vote for someone so morally bankrupt. It's very alarming!

In celebration, I wrote a blurb for my current wip. While doing housework I had a sudden flash of inspiration, so I tapped the blurb into the Notes app on my phone! Proving the old adage, you never know when inspiration will strike! #inspiration #amquerying #writingcommunity

That's precisely why I only write standalone novels! 😉

Thank you, Matt. It is wonderful, especially as I almost abandoned the novel when I hit a huge plothole early on. I'm so proud of myself for persevering. This is a great day! 😀

I'm relieved to hear it. I'm sorry you had that experience though.

Oh my goodness. I hadn't realised that was the inspiration behind it,Sophia. I hope all is well now? X

I love the picture of the sundial covered in frost. It feels like a metaphor for the times we're living through!

Indeed.

You're welcome. Writing a hooky pitch, especially in 300 characters is so hard. I hate it! Glad to have helped and good luck!

I think starting with a question isn't hooking your reader because they have no context, so can't answer the question. A pitch should say who the MC is, what they want, what's getting in the way of them getting it. Don't waste precious words on questions that give us none of the crucial info!

Beautiful and much-needed. Blue Monday doesn't usually affect me, but, given what was going on across the pond, even I found it to be a dark and dreary day!

This sounds amazing. I would love to read it, Sharlene. Fab pitch! 🙂
