Wrathion getting more and more exasperated as he and Anduin make detours to each of the Celestials' temples, and said Celestials are giving them perplexing advice - but the penny hasn't dropped. Wrathion isn't following because it's all marriage related. Anduin is sweating.

For example:
Anduin accidentally dropping his ring box, and cloud serpent whelps pilfering and playing with it - queue Anduin trying to retrieve it without Wrathion noticing.
...and also them hearing a rumors of possible mantid sightings, which they go to investigate and find a web of mystery...

That's honestly the best way to look at it Gwyn, and I think that makes it quite the opposite of pointless - it's an expression of self and connection to others. 🫂💗
