When we love someone, we don't demand they not struggle, ignore their struggles, or shame them for struggling. We sit w/ them. We see them. We validate them. If we want to develop realistic self love, we can't be demanding, ignoring, or shaming ourselves in our own struggles.

After the storm, everything has a layer of ice shellac. The driveway is a complete unwalkable slick. Had to hold onto the car, and shove the rolling garbage bin the last 30 feet like an Olympic curler. Nailed it!

In Kamloops BC there is a place called Oriental Gardens. Around the perimeter of the restaurant are little alcoves where you can eat cross legged on the floor Japanese style. In the middle is standard Chinese restaurant furniture. Whatever crack they put in their food its ruined me for anywhere else
