I was worried that the sweater I just finished would be too warm for me to wear. I was hoping that the 50% silk in the yarn blend would do the trick. Happily I’ve worn it all day in the house and no reports of spontaneous combustion. YAY! #knitsky

My absolutely least favourite knitting chore done. I hate, loath and despise every nanosecond I spend balling yarn. It’s a waste of precious knitting time!! But now it’s done. The swatch is knit and drying. Pattern math to go but almost there. Briggs&Little Aran in washed white for a jacket

Well, I have finished the first sleeve on the sweater but decided to take out the bottom ribbing on the body of the sweater. It’s just a touch too short for my liking so it’s back on the needles. Fortunately, I have lots of yarn to add a couple of inches. #knitsky #knitting

My sweater is off the needles at least until I pick up the stitches for the sleeves. I’m almost happy with it. I suspect with further consideration I will undo the bottom and add another 1.5 inches
