$30 each for 6 inch figures :-( . These basically look like 90s Marvel action figures with less accessories and the same build quality for 6 times the price. I know inflation exists, but not by that much. FOMO is wildly out of control, and that is coming from someone who has been collecting 30 years

Paired to more than one device at a time. Being connected to more than one device at a time is what you are thinking of. The advantage of pairing to multiple devices is you don’t have to start the pairing process over every time you switch back and forth, say for example between PC and iOS.

No one is spending hundreds of dollars on a present for their kid that their didn’t ask for. This isn’t an impulse purchase. The kid is getting a PS5 or Switch because that’s what they asked for, or they are getting nothing if it is too expensive.

Unfortunate when someone expresses positivity and shares something they enjoy only to have someone else reply by dunking on something. They meant the art in the center of course and you knew that, but you couldn’t walk away or share in that joy. Had to get that dopamine hit of 2 social media likes ☹️

Yeah just speculating what the other guy may have run into

For me its only available from third parties that want $69

I expect to see these games sold again at a higher price like the recent Sonic collection we got.

Just a heads up the Switch version on Amazon is about the same price if you have free shipping. Mine was free overnight shipping.

$90 for some plastic cut outs? Yikes!

Yep that is the only third party game I am buying for now, just to show support. I hope there are enough of us that other publishers get the picture.

Check your local Target. Mine had them on the clearance shelf. Ymmv

It was GBA doing emulation so I give them a pass on that part. Would have been nice to have the complete collection though.

That seems like a lot of money to spend on an AI hardware design team that hasn’t released any AI hardware. Especially given Ive’s record at Apple when he was given heavy control in the 2010s and they had disaster after disaster of non functional and easily broken devices.

Guess not. Just got an email from them saying they are still sending out invites for prepurchase and I am still in line.

That is crazy. I came in super late to even attempt buying. Feel bad for those who had 1 hour of anxiety.

I was in queue for 20 mins on my phone. Had to close it. Came to my laptop and joined the queue and 3 minutes later I got one. It's being jank. Try another device as well, but don't close the other tab like had to, who knows maybe that one will pop.

I just got one. I had a tab open on my phone for 20 minutes and got nothing. Had to close it and open one on my laptop, and got one after waiting 3 minutes. Seems like the system is being funky.

Anyone know if they are still sending out new invites for the consoles? I thought I would have been in the first batch as I am a day 1 Switch owner, a day one Nintendo Online member as well as subscribing day 1 when it went paid. 3 Switches logging 20 hours a week each. Maybe it is a lottery system?

Does anyone know how LRG traditionally does their PC releases? Is it on disc, USB drive, or just a code in the box? Couldn’t find the info on the page, but maybe I skimmed past it?

I don’t even play Doom, but the controller and the game both look amazing.

That is awesome, thank you.

Off topic but does the SuperDock for the SuperStation play audio CDs?

That’s awesome. I just finished playing Chrono Trigger for the first time a couple weeks ago. As an adult who played a lot of RPGs already it was still pretty good. But I can only imagine how much of a mark that game would have left on me if I played it as a kid. Must have been magical.

Yep. I got one at Target for $30. When the SNES 2 was suffering the same fate, I got that for $50 at Target with Kirby Super Star (I think that one was $79 MSRP). Snagged some good deals at Toys R Us clearances too, Crystalis $10 StarTropics $10 Zoda’s Revenge $10.

Nothing. It is widely considered far above the Sega CD version. However I do love the Sega CD and that version of the game… being a collection, they could have at least thrown us the ROM for that.

Often wonder if Sunsoft would have been a bigger name if they didn’t get so many projects and licenses pulled from them. The stuff they released in this era is up there with Capcom and Konami.

Omg that’s evil. They put a storm trooper as the art for some poor kids “coloring box” 😂

I remember my eMachines would fly on Windows 98. My mom’s Power Macintosh 6100 would fly on system 7. For some reason mid 00s-10s budget computers were slow straight out of the box on their pre-installed OS. Even with an SSD. Bloat is terrible. Thank the lord for Linux.

I wish @bitmapbooks.com did game publishing. They have legendary packing quality. When a popular item goes out of stock… they do another print run to meet the demand of people who actually use their products. Imagine that…

I think there was some negative reception from some DD arcade fans, but generally it was well received. I really liked it myself. Has some roguelite elements. Played this online a lot with a buddy. Difficulty is pretty balanced for players new to beat em ups as well as veterans.

Also reminder: Bitmap Books packs their products super well. Their attention to detail and quality control always makes me excited for the next release, because I know it’s going to look beautiful on a shelf and to read.
