Hopefully, he meant his "voters" will be watching because that's what I think, and hope, will happen. When China doesn't pay the tariffs, that is.

I see a billboard! I see big beautiful headlines! "Trump Touts Biden's Car Building Plan! (And lies about his own role.) Don't trust what he says!

True that Trump's ridiculous diversionary narratives, currently that Comet's threatened Trump with a photo of shells, suck all the air out of truly meaningful stories. Can't we make the Silence of the GOP the Big Story, as it should be? Stir up some righteous outrage about that?

I will not be controlled by any media narrative (if I can avoid it!!). People will need to prove they are leaders with meaningful leadership qualities, experience and intentions. That will take some time and addressing issues, taking action is the roadmap.

Seriously, since when is EVERYTHING a matter of national security or an emergency. Feels like part of a set up for declaring martial law or some equivalent.

Seeing/reading about Trump's personal business dealings in the Middle East was an "ah-ha" moment and I'm sure I'm late to the game - he set us up by relentlessly going after Hunter Biden/Biden family to normalize his and his sons' upcoming corruption. He's a scammer first and foremost.

Didn't see that coming 😎

Sounds good and if we stopped giving "welfare" to the wealthy we could all live a better life, even those who currently "serve" all of us, especially the wealthy, but still need welfare to eat, stay healthy and sleep under a roof.

The BBC reported a very small percentage of rural murders are white landowners. More likely, Elon Musk is unhappy about a policy that calls for 30% black ownership of telecom companies (now at 3% at most). Whites are 7% of population. Mayeni Jones, Africa correspondent for BBC, 2/22/25 article.

Are they that stupid or do they think we are? They are deleting minorities and women from history and stopping minorities from coming here and shipping them out. It is simply racism. Unless it's racism and sexism that we don't know about yet.

Biden did it! Their answer to everything. Can't they see saying that makes them look as if they can't do anything when they are doing an excellent job of destroying just about everything. Which is their goal, right? Part of their 'down is up & up is down' destruction of reality and truth.

Trump promised, or rather warned, that if he was elected we wouldn't have to vote again. Sounds like another promise he's working to keep. Question: is there a way the Democratic Senate or House could form a committee or advisory group that includes professionals who specialize in voting rights?

Pg xiv, Proj 2025, "The 2025 Presidential Transition Project," lays out the "four pillars" - the document, a personnel database for appointments [Fox News people?], a Presidential Admin Academy (for training on gov functions), and the "Playbook" to help execute "so help me God" [Constitution? nah!].

In the Note On "Project 2025," page xiii: "... one set of eyes reading these passages will be ... the 47th President ..." It refers to the "Mandate for Leadership," Heritage Foundation's document written for Ronald Reagan, #40, in 1980. Not new, won't end.

Might they be members of militias who have been training to jump into action to enforce their white supremacy and/or Christian nationalism plans?

Caution: read this only after taking your blood pressure or anti-stress meds. Thank you, Heather, for this big dose of reality - even though it's so so hard to swallow.

Reality show government. What a joke. I bet the world is laughing.

Isn't the very definition, the title, the only meaning of his job - law enforcement? And yet he has no apparent regard for following the law. I bet the Republicans are outraged by this! Right?

The Trump Crime Family includes all the people it seems you're expecting to call them on it. Those people will, apparently, never stand up against their illegality or for the rule of law. They will all need to be prosecuted and voted out of office.

Hegseth: I think it's a good idea to get rid of experienced military leaders. We don't need them. Let's start with women and minority 4 Star Generals.

Trump and Musk want to wreck it (Social Security) so they can rob it. That simple.

Perjury. Impeach the liar. He swindled his way into control so he can get disgustingly rich using his position, no different from Gaddafi, Mubarak, Bashar al-Assad or Mugabe. He's competing with Putin and like each of them he has no regard for his effect on his country. We just have farther to fall.

Trump doesn't have the intelligence, emotional or otherwise, let alone the attention-span to watch a serious movie so how would he know anything about movies, international or US-made. This is purely & simply a way to control our knowledge. Purely & simply authoritarian control.

If thinking, analyzing, new ideas and new experiences are not valued then higher education is not important. Good college educators, conservative or progressive, offer these. They won't be gained from watching TV/Internet within the walls of one's own home, fearing or hating the unknown.

Surely there's some energy for impeaching (or whatever) Johnson on both sides of the aisle? And could it get any worse if we lost?

We need photos, big and many photos of those kids. We need stories. If this is real let's have that reality and make it in-your-face can't-ignore news. Bluesky is great but let's change some minds!

Looks like Trump, et al.'s version of DEI. Have they no shame? (I know the answer to this one!)
comment in response to post
I certainly agree. An echo chamber, while satisfying, doesn't further our cause. Can we make sure the people we need to join us in agreement, and who might pressure their Republican reps, are hearing this?
