UK - still offended by Brexit
Excited by GPT4 o and what comes next
Marvel at and believe in boundless human ability and shudder at pathetic, merciless leaders destroying the world.

A useful check on motivation and deciding how to spend your time. See also “Clear Thinking” by Shane Parrish for thinking past your default emotional responses.

Persuading Republican politicians that to facilitate his removal would be a big political win for them …. And a breathing space for the world.

Here @sethgodin.bsky.social once again hits the AI nail right on the head. Succinct and to the point:
“It doesn’t really matter that AI doesn’t “know” what it’s doing. Most of the time, we don’t either.
Human work is any work an AI can’t do (yet.)”
A useful mantra to remember.

Trumpers too cowardly to "put him right" on this type of jibberish which warps reality and many may just "accept".
His limited knowledge (of just about everything) is stacking up many problems that will have to be corrected in due course.
Hoping that "his" people step up and stem this toxic flow.

Few websites include a link to BlueSky. E.g., My UK Borough Council site has links to “X”, and 4 other social media accounts - but not #bsky
Let website admins know that and ask them to signup and add #bsky link to their content.

"According to scholars, Camus' Great Replacement theory can only lead to acts of violence, by presenting non-whites as an existential threat to white people, and immigrants as a fifth column or an "internal enemy""

Yes - good. But so many websites still have only a link to "X" (and often still the twitter logo).
If broadcasters like @mrjamesob.bsky.social highlighted this issue perhaps more sites would (*at least*) add the Bluesky logo/link as an option.
