A TheHill.com opinion article ‘Was 40-year-old Trump recruited by the KGB?’ could explain a lot. Lists potentially reliable sources, but no clear evidence. Couldn’t figure out how to link back to the article, still new at blue sky

A common self publishing error is not to allow enough margin. Having text too close to the edge of pages just looks wrong. For a standard length Novel I often use .625inches as my outer margin with a center margin of .875 inches.

I have tested three Book layout and design software tools for over a year. After building books in Scribus, Adobe Indesign, and Affinity Publisher I settled on Affinity as my new platform going forward. I have been using Affinity Publisher as my primary design tool since the beginning of March 2024.

The latest version of the Upscayl opensource AI image upscaler is both fun and useful. The free version runs locally on your desktop (vs using web based resources). It does a great job of cleaning up and enhancing images that need a bit of help. Old, and low res photos can get a new improved look.

I just discovered that LibreOffice can open Apple .pages files. Probably everyone else already knows that or doesn't care. But for me it is helpful when a client works in Pages, I don't have to deal with having them save as a Word file.
