RIP Sgt Mohammed Hussain, who died on Friday aged 100. Born in Rawalpindi in pre-partition India, he joined the Army aged sixteen in 1941, fighting in Italy from 1943-45, and later settling in Berkshire where he marked his 100th birthday last month.

Fortunately had no intention of going to the US in its present state but this seals it.
