It’s baffling how they can call for “merit based” hiring, then cheer for RFK and Hegseth in the cabinet.

It’s really a damn shame as I think it’s conceptually the sort of business we want to be legitimate and successful. We just can’t have nice things under late stage capitalism

A Game of Thrones. I’m bummed the series as a whole hasn’t had an installment in so long, but that first book in the series is still just so darn good

It’s really hard to be budget with anything from the newest set. Point acquisition is slow, and you can’t trade for it. I think to be truly budget, you’d be restricted to maybe a couple 3-diamond in the newest set and older sets you can be pretty loose

Nuance takes patience, and the internet has basically trained us that anything that takes more than 7 seconds isn’t worth engagement

That movie has no chill. The only reason it didn’t scar me as a child was I wasn’t mature enough to realize how dark it was

I should feel nothing but disgust, but this has become so common I’ve grown numb. The saying was “never meet your heroes.” Now it’s more like “don’t have heroes.”

It looks nothing like him. It’s not even as close as the silly fan art that idealizes him. That’s just a totally different person.
Also, that is a sad lunch. I’d literally prefer drive through

Agreed. I’m not giving a round of applause for clearing the bar of not-as-bad-as-Trump. If a president is going to break convention, maybe help more people than just their son, yeah? I’m baffled by the takes of the Hunter pardon being some kind of victory

None of that excuses giving your son a get out of jail free card. I’ll concede Hunter was targeted for being the president’s son, but he committed those crimes, and the sentencing was within the law. Just because it’s not as bad as Trump doesn’t mean it’s okay
