I'm a insulin dependent type 2
so I understand the
struggles.
Even when we were poor our cats never had a clue.
I sure understand the depth of love
and devotion kittys
bring people.
Give him a hug for us and Orson.

Our other cats ate
purina 9 lives , fancy feast and dry.
One was diabetic and that's expensive.
Just needles exceeded the total
amount of his monthly food cost.
He had cancer, not
diabetes.
I felt cheated out of thousands of dollars to give him his best care.
I'm glad special foods exist. πΈ

We are cat crazy.
No kids and dogs are too much work
for us in old age.
I do hope Orson
buries us and he goes to a much
better place, the
neighbors who
found him for us.
8 weeks old and healthy as a horse.

We've never beat
cancer with our rescues athough
we had about a dozen years with each.
We got Orson as a kitten hoping he'd act like he does now at 9.
He completes us.
We have a marvelous vet too.

A battle to impress and feel he is worthy of love.
He does have very low esteem which explains a lot.
He is a dark cloud hanging overhead
in my confusing world.

It's the schedule he likes but in a few years he can eat whatever he likes. He will be spoiled rotten.
Weight will be ok
He gets catnip on demand.
Senior cats we've had get more wet as a lot of hydration comes from their food.
I hope your kitty keeps his appetite up and your spirits up too. π

I've yet to see them at my local store.
I think I'll phone the
pet store and see if
they sell it.
We feed him 1 table
spoon wet (fancy feast)
Once a day 8 temptations whenever, especially if we eat
in front of him occasionally.
250 ml dry food.
Its always topped up so he thinks he's rich.

Bless the people looking expressly
for seniors to adopt.
They are wonderful
and loving animals
who have earned the right to live in a
low stress, loving environment.
You picked a real winner. Beautiful senior feline winner. ππΊβ€οΈ

My folks had a dog.
Then they had me.
He was my best friend my first 4 years of life.
Puppy was his name and he kept
me safe and away from the road without being trained to do so.
He was strict in my
safety.

You made his head swell.
Now there will be no living him.
Orson says thank you for the compliment and believing he needed braces.
He's had no dental work and he's 9.
Vets happy.
I'm happy.

In Canada we are all going to die too.
Physicians. Assisted suicide.
Or death at home, hospital, care home, hospice ect
Instead we have a good healthcare system to prevent
death
I like it

with owners

They have to go after workers because out back
may be scary gang members.
It's a numbers thing and not an improve the Country approach.
I wish more could be made citizens faster. Amnesty for
dreamers and long time workers.
A better but more difficult approach is to stop racists.

Our neighbour's daughter was blessed with beauty, brains, and a good heart.
She is a top notch

Her insulin pump and G7 allow her good A1cs and avoid the highs and lows insulin can cause.

I've been over a month 99% gluten
free without noticing any difference.
Food is dirt cheap in the US with more
selection but Canada has great labeling
( in French too)
so I know what is in
processed foods.
Soups ect.
We don't make as much from scratch anymore, tastes too good and is 2 much work

The fermented veggies are a great
tip. I love sauerkraut and recently discovered kimchee.
I quit drinking 15 years ago.
It's funny how I drank
3 to 4 40oz old english beers a day
mixed with over 1.36l clamato juice
yet struggle to drink 1 liter of water a day now.
Thanks. 2 great tips to startππΉ
