the original Lodoss was actually just D&D session transcripts, a la modern "actual play." they were published in a games mag & meant to demonstrate D&D to Japanese audiences. this is those in full, with the original illustrations, character sheets, everything!

Videogames are generally boring and predictable. Reject being a slave to consistency. Explore new ideas at a whim. Change your mind often. Hide behind the "Early Access" label forever. VR is inherently absurd (the co-experience of two dissonant realities). Embrace it.

I appreciate people honestly suggesting Linux but… Spending one second of my life wondering - is this an issue because it’s running Linux? No I remove anxiety from my life. I hate technology. This is all just a tool for me to use to create outputs, I have no fascination with the machinery.

There's an interesting problem in digital preservation, which is that preservation only exists actively. Only the things you actively move to new formats, survives. Community is probably the same way: it has to be actively maintained in order to outlive whatever spot it's currently in.
