So many of the questions political scientists have been asking like “does campaign money buy policy benefits” (yes) and “is the government responsive” (no) using complicated methods and great data are just being answered in the most straightforward way possible. Wild.

Exactly. The minority in the Senate has lots of power. Also, they can galvanize the public. There is a billionaire firing middle class people so he can get a tax cut. I don’t know. Seems like there is some fertile ground for “messaging” here. What do all those Democratic “strategists” on TV do?
