reminds me of a time I learned my PSU wiring was messed up when I banged my knee against my desk and my entire workstation restarted.

interfaces inspiration

every piston in the engine accelerates the flywheel forward, and players can adjust the power level of the pistons. pistons can blow and will need to be changed out at first your engine is shit. it runs slow, and your Hauler cant do things quickly you have to learn to tune the engine as needed

been really obsessed with space docking cameras lately. i think ill make the docking camera at outposts be very similar to this, and the metadata on screen be relevant for the player to dock to the outposts

while I was researching cube marching, I found a distinct lack of straight forward tutorials on it in Godot i was curious if there's a desire for something like that, or if it's too niche? #godot #godotengine

ive been working tirelessly this weekend to implement a cube marching algorithm to procedurally generate ore veins (a la Deep Rock Galactic) super proud of the outcome needs optimization & cleanup, but it works beautifully more to come, for now i sleep 😴 #gamedev #godot #indiedev #solodev
