that was my implied question, yes, I am not stupid and a court would absolutely never take you seriously in this case

that is quite literally not how it works if I post something and you post the same thing, can I sue you?

also you did argue against it at the moment you said it is not a good faith database. anyway it won’t be even that useful since most users of this node are illiterate

in that case yeah sure they might remove it. it’s kind of a useless reach though since it will not change anything. the dataset will be uploaded somewhere else, and they can’t do anything about op

it’s public data out of a federated platform for which its own ToS states you are solely responsible for your data stored within the nodes. don’t go online if you don’t want to be scraped? or be an actual human being and set up a proper blog? the internet is not for normies, and it will never be

yeah let us know what happens buddy I'm sure you're important enough for them to care your public data is being downloaded 😱

not at all what it refers to. This is for apps who want to be federated with bsky not random people running scrapers on the firehose api

I actually spun up an alpine box with QEMU on my old Galaxy S20, unironically works wonders as a CI/CD box on the go. It's just a bit hard to explain to people that I have 2 phones because one of them is a Github action runner.
