Underread German hipped me to him; I think Max Lawton is really into him right now, and is trying to get someone to pick up a translation of the full Shoreless River (only a few bits of which have made it to English) denniscooperblog.com/spotlight-on... unnormable.tumblr.com/post/8024912...

Bored one day, popped into a shop, saw some comics, bought a couple to pass the time. The comics happened to be a few issues from the American Gothic as well as Superman Annual 11, 'For the Man Who Has Everything'. I found out then that truly incredible comics were being created and my life changed

One of the parks alongside the Colorado River, Austin, day or two before the 2017 US F1 GP Fernando Alonso, with trainer/companion/bodyguard, jogging towards me. Couldn't think of what to do or say to the great man so doffed my Williams cap to him, catching his eye as he ran by

The huge one for me was macOS-like features (file management, windows, menu bars, cursors) finally infiltrating the iPad. The inevitable beginning of the end for macOS, even though they'd never publicly characterize it that way

I would say though if someone was in the same room as me and was chatting away closed cans miiight be better? Not a circumstance I have. But these things are so useful in so many contexts (auto-translation coming?? amazing) they're a no-brainer. I tolerate silicone in my ears v well, some don't, tho

ANC is v good (be careful around cars!), transparency mode is good and safer. Battery life incredible. Auto-pairing when you switch devices can be annoying so turned that off, now select Pods manually Probably the best thing Apple has made since the iPhone, I can't imagine life w/o
