Fred's take of millions is also if not inaccurate then improbable. Models have been underestimating the rates of increase given temps in 23/24 and early 2025

Btw the IPCC research publications have regularly underestimated the impacts of anthropogenic climate change and it's acceleration.
I don't really even take them as an authoritative source of info anymore. I follow James Hanson Leon Simon's and professor Eliott Jacobson
among a few others.
