OTD in 1996, as per the Budapest memo guaranteeing their territorial integrity, Ukraine handed their final nuclear warhead to Russia. They also gave heavy bombers (Tu-22) and 1,068 Kh-55 cruise missiles. Which have been fired at Ukraine in this war

OTD in 1997 Russia & NATO signed the “Founding act on mutual relations, cooperation and security” in which we promised not to use force on anyone & respect borders. Lol It makes no mention of any promise by NATO not to admit new members. Odd, given it’s so very important to us.
