It’s amazing isn’t it? Just today I was marveling how ingrained YouTube is in a friend’s life. I never picked up the habit. I just read—a lot. I felt tremendously old even though we’re the same age haha

I’m bullish on AI and development. It’s going to let us build more software in a shorter space of time. The wringing of hands is a bit unfounded imo, though understandable, and is reminiscent of similar leaps in programming history.

Right? That’s absolute insane advice to be seeing. It’s akin to stockpiling guns in preparation to fight the federal government. In no version of reality are you going to benefit from that fight.

Entangled Life was a great read. It was precisely what I was looking for—an approachable intro to a domain of knowledge I had zero experience with. “Mycoheterotrophy” will forever be stuck in my head.
