I’m not sure packing all those steaming hot fajitas under the hood was the best strategy, but it is on brand for chilis

I grew up around nascar since I live near the daytona speedway but the vibes were always hostile to me. I’ve always thought the racing was awesome but the culture around it needs reform and I’m hopeful that will happen.

Televising the IMSA mx5 series would do good numbers. That’s some of the best racing around IMO.

I can only speak for myself, but I only really started watching after the confederate flag ban. I also know plenty of other folks like myself that feel it’s become more watchable since then.
I’m hopeful bet concerned for the future of the sport.

It’s always been a beacon for them even before MAGA had a name, it’s making progress though. Having trump at Daytona and now Pete tonight hopefully doesn’t halt that progress.

This is actually the biggest shitshow on put road I’ve ever seen in indycar. It’s a very abnormal day.

He’s a plug and play driver. Let him play in a car and he can plug it into a wall.

Idiot is the word he uses when people can hear. He uses different ones when he thinks people can’t.

Shit at this pace there’s still gonna be 80 laps of Indy by 6 pm.

Yeah, I get ya, but remember last year how long it took them to decide if he should get a playoff waiver? I think that’s the precedent now.
I suspect that he’s allowed in the playoffs if he doesn’t start and that’s their excuse to not delay.

I just don’t see them holding the race back for 1 driver. Even if it is Kyle Larson.

Theory: they had to give everyone fair cars because there would be extra scrutiny and no Penske driver has ever practiced in one of those.

It’s actually wild how different the pace is. Like, some of these guys must barely be at minimum speed.

Last week they cut to commercial in under 10 laps.

What ended up happening, I’ve been in a coma. Everyone ended up wanting Joe Biden on the ballot and he ran with full democratic support right?

Someone engaged with this thread out of nowhere and I’m seeing a lot of people here that look pretty fuckin arrogant and condescending about how everyone wants Biden and my opinion isnt a good sample size as if that’s my point.
Looks like I was right, people didn’t want Biden to run.

Hey man, it’s gonna go both ways, we’re rivals for a reason (Orlando city fan here)
During the match, fuck Atlanta. The match is over, we’re both from the south and also not Miami. Don’t lose focus… destroy Miami.
