this stupid shit I'm doing with this game is doing wonders to distract me until Monster Hunter Wilds comes out

can't stress enough how much this fucked with my brain last night. as soon as I accidentally did the same bug as I did in the GBA version, I went "no way...they can't be...." so I did this test and sure enough. gotta make two versions at the same time? better make them NEAR IDENTICAL mechanically.

The DS version is.......the same as the GBA version.....the same exact game......just with better graphics, touch screen support, and a save feature instead of passwords.... the same game.....I just.....did the route I did earlier in that version too.....didn't time it though

first finished Any% run of Arctic Tale (GBA) and there are the splits. as far as i'm concerned this is currently world record baby! and i made a LOT of mistakes lmfao

oh yeah i kinda said i was gonna look up primary care doctors under my insurance today. *ten minutes later* hahahaha this sucks man

ONLY THE WALRUS CAN SEARCH THE DEPTHS

oh shit. I have to play it out but Arctic Tale for GBA may actually have enough sauce. there's a run button that drains your life that you have to recover with pickups. that's Routing. hmm. looking into this.

Just found out there's "least total players" and "least total runs" sort options on speedrun.com and I am attempting to find ideas for a Very Powerful Bit

*looks at watch*

I'd have to really think about it, but I think only two, and several games fit that category. VVVVVV, Celeste, Balatro, Slice & Dice, Dicey Dungeons, Monster Hunter Rise, Resident Evil (2002), Resident Evil 4 (2005)......probably more I can't think of

oh the heater in the fuel station appears to be broken. cool. well 58 is better than whatever the fuck is going on outside lmfao

shouldn't have waited until the last day of the last beta to try it. I wanna play wilds now

God help us all
