Pathetic.

Lets say you have 20 Taurus. You hit 20 planes. Russia still has 80 atleast. Thst means it has very limited strategic effect. If you on the other hand hit a command post or barracks for pilots... That is worth more the planes.
comment in response to post
You are clearly missing the point of what you use a resources, such as the Taurus, for. There are more HVT:s to strike then an airplane. The amount of Taurus that Ukraine would likely recieve would be quite few in numbers on top of that. Taurus is a "bunkerbuster", small tip for you.

Airplane*
comment in response to post
You dont use 1 Taurus to take out 1 plan. Well, you can but not optimal given the price tag and the relative few numbers of Taurus there is.
comment in response to post
You do realise what this bunker does, right?

I unfortunately think that hoping for Russia is grasping for straws... Do they have issues but collapsing is wishful thinking.
comment in response to post
Well, we care. The damage has to be equal or more to the US for it to be worth it.
comment in response to post
Yes, that is correct. However there is plenty of evidence that shows they still produce a fair amount of these systems. Not the same amount they are loosing but still. Point is: Using decoys does not equate to that you lack equipment. Just look at Britain during WW2 in Egypt.
comment in response to post
You really think they would form a company thst would do EXACTLY what the russians do? Just because they use motorcycles does not mean failure. It is how you use it as part of a bigger operation.
comment in response to post
The tactic is not the same as the russians. Using motorcycles can be quite effective if done correctly and as part of a larger operation.

Dummies is also a response to losses in the manner that they want to avoid more. Dummies generally is not a "replacement" but rather target focus distraction. Dummies dont really tell you much about lacking resources. It can be an indication.
comment in response to post
They still produce a lot and their airforce is still strong. But at the rate that has been they cant replace everything but somewhat they still can.
comment in response to post
Probably this is one of the main reasons along with S300-400 also thinning out. Also the guidance systems on guided bombs have recently been upgraded since the russians interfered with it before.
comment in response to post
It is not just about that. Something has changed that allows Ukraine to deliver the payload closer to the frontline.

🤣

People have been saying that since early 2023. Yet, here we are more then 2 years later. Even if it collapses they can still keep up the war for a while. The russian people is weak and wont rebel.

There are different designs on this matter but all are quite similar. The US has one similar. You can easily look it up by investing your time to google and read. Btw, these type of design ideas movies rarely depict a final product or procedure mechanism. It is mainly for concept demonstration.

What are referring to?
comment in response to post
The jet exhaust is placed on top of the "mothership" (in the video) so I dont get your reference to flying out behind it. This is by the way in no means a revolutionary design and is actually already in testing by other countries...
comment in response to post
Less popular? Try hated across most developed countries that considered the US friends before.

I love when Ukraine imposes its own sanctions.
comment in response to post
Without aid you would not have much to defend with and would be quite worse off then you are. Tauting supporters is bad for Ukraine. I agree that much more should have been done earlier but understand that there are problems with sending everything and leaving our front to Russia barren.
comment in response to post
If you cant understand that there is more to the world and that things are complex then I am sorry. Would you rather the structure to support Ukraine collapse so you wont get much support at all? Cause that is what happens when you act like you do.
comment in response to post
That is not fair. You should blame Scholz. Pistorius actually unlocked things for Ukraine. You are being a bit too emotional and not rational.
comment in response to post
I dont think you have a solid understanding on strategic operation and tactical gains. For clarity I want Ukraine to get the support they need but some help had its place but now it might not be. Pistorius is right that there are things now that are of more value since circumstances have changed.
comment in response to post
Taurus is one of the last warheads the West have that Russia have little operational intel on. If you send it and use in strikes Russia will have a lot of information for EW-counter measure. It is all about strategic risk management. Not about being emotionally driven. Build more SCALPS instead.
comment in response to post
Russia is building up a military reserve that is not commited to Ukraine. No matter what people think they will soon have the capability to cause problems in other regions. People need to wake up.
comment in response to post
Just to be clear: I don't disagree with you in principal. But there is a thing called "being prepared for the worst". Baltic states very much so have reasons to be worried. No matter what you think about Russias capabilities.
comment in response to post
The problem is Russia can still attack here as a last ditch effort. We can't be unprepared if that happens.
comment in response to post
That is unfortunately not the reality. The production on some vital equipment and foremost missiles for both ground and air is manufactured more or less solely in the US. Without those capabilities a "victory" (return of all territories) wont happen. Europe cant replace that for atleast 5 years.

comment in response to post
Nja.
comment in response to post
comment in response to post

I dont understand how you americans could be this dumb to think it would get better. Sorry, but you are just plain stupid. We over here in Europe could see it all along for what was about to come.
comment in response to post
China just need to wait for the US to crumble on itself then invade Taiwan. And US is on track for that with their stupid moves.
comment in response to post
I mean, if the US wants us to increase trade with China then sure. Smart strategic move there US.
comment in response to post
Well, we will see. I am pretty sure there will be a response. Can't say much more.
comment in response to post
Oh, dont worry. We will retaliate soon. US is not the powerhouse you used to be.
comment in response to post
Or when the EU strikes back with their response. Likely to come soon enough.
comment in response to post
What makes you so sure it will be 4 years? I doubt there will be a new fair election in 4 years time.

comment in response to post
comment in response to post
Inte nödvändigtvis så länge till.
comment in response to post
NASAMS for the win.
comment in response to post
