For Threema specifically, securitycryptographywhatever.com/2023/01/27/t... is old, and the specific vulnerabilities mentioned there are fixed, but it’s the sort of thing would give me pause over the longer term as well.

I am not a professional cryptographer, but I pay attention to the space. And the very clear sense I have is that Signal is hands down the best, from a technical perspective. (And yes, there are non-technical aspects that matter a lot.)

Oh yeah. Didn’t occur to me to wonder whether heart rate drops with each dose…and if so, why, and if not, how they survive even the first few doses without metabolic failure, overheating, and fluid dynamics issues (“blood hammer”, anyone?).

Yes! When I recommend Titanium Noir, as I do a lot, I tell people it’s an excellent noir, with some SF that’s there only in service of the story.

I've foiled your plot to deprive average Americans like me. Foyles ships internationally. www.foyles.co.uk/book/sleeper...

I wonder whether a part of this is that Go has historically adopted his advances quickly. Responsiveness is a feature.

OK, who here wants to become an impromptu exporter to the US? As I type these words I can see how appealing that sounds…but your backwater cousins need help.

…and I’m across the Atlantic quite keen to pay the BBC for Only Connect, but that is not an option.

Pull your hat’s brim all the way down until it touches your beard! (Sorry. It’s all just so horrifying.)
