Everything we hear about long Covid is framed as most are recovering but there are no preventions in place for the majority to stop this happening again. I lost a friend several months ago to a reinfection which caused heart damage, lack of vaccine access and antivirals certainly didn’t help. 🧵

I will be returning to talk about the ocean at a burlesque show tonight! The girls at these shows always go ridiculously all out, so I'm going silly with it. I knew there was a reason I was holding onto this old sea captain hat. I don't know how to do eyeshadow. It's FINE. It's a COSTUME event.
