And before anyone offers up a GitHub repo with a third party API solution, I've tried a few and they work for the most part, but I would like the first party solution with all of the features to *also* be an option for individuals without it costing a minimum of 240$ a year.

If I'm hosting the infrastructure that allows the product to function, I shouldn't have to pay a monthly cost for that product. I would gladly pay within the hundreds of dollars if it meant I supported the project without holding my wallet hostage.

I think the rustdesk team *should* be paid for their work don't get me wrong, but having features like the web console and client configuration being locked behind a monthly paywall for individuals is kinda meh. Even Plex with all their faults has this figured out.

I'm hoping these issues are fixed with the BSB2, but I'm not forking over another cent to them. I'm gonna let someone else beta test their hardware first before I spend nearly a thousand US dollars (again!!!) on a paperweight.

That, paired with the horrible glare, non-existent sweet spot, and horrible E2E clarity, the idea of the BSB is fantastic on paper but I've only ever had a horrible experience with it and would never recommend anyone buy one. (3/4)

and despite Bigscreen support (whom were always helpful mind you, I have no qualms with them) getting me 2 new face gaskets and getting my IPD changed, I've never been able to use the headset without horrible headaches within minutes of putting it on. (2/4)

The term "upgrade kit" is poor wording at best and horribly misleading marketing at worst. It should be labeled as headset only imo.

I will be buying one of both model, for completing my collection and because I believe in the mission, but I'm hoping to see in the future a return to the Time body style and better repairability. A hackable device should be a repairable one!
