So Warner Bros. wasted 9 years of Rocksteady for a live service game no one wanted, patented Monolith's major innovation and sat on it, and wasted another 8 years of that studio before shutting it down. They should be totally censured until they leave the games industry.

Put AC Brotherhood on the Steam Deck. Looks spectacular, as expected, but the thing that got me is that you see the title card after about three minutes of gameplay. These kids playing AC now would demand their money back.

So, the funny thing about No Rest for the Wicked is that early access only goes through the first act of the story, but they also released the endgame for it, so I can either leave off now until 1.0, or keep playing and make my character into someone who will totally break the rest of the game.

This game hits upon something I don’t think anything else has, which is that Souls-like combat is better in isometric than third-person. The top-down angle lets you see the entire ballet play out between combatants. Feints and attacks are way more satisfying as a result.
