Today is the final day to submit work to our emerging writers programme. 3 stories will be commissioned from emerging writers, one from each of the following areas:​ Blackpool; Middlesbrough; Rochdale​. The stories will appear in an anthology to be published in 2026. More details on our website.

Congratulations to Nathan Bailey for winning the inaugural Withington Book Festival story competition, judged by Greenhouse Books and Confingo magazine. Congratulations, too, to runners-up Stephen Smythe, Madeleine Foster and Lee Ashworth. The winning story will be published in Confingo next year.
