I'm still alive, just have nothing much to say lately. I'm trying to embrace that here. I'll think of something to say. Catching up on sleep & getting over emotional exhaustion from choir tour. It was wonderful, and I didn't sleep well, and a couple things happened that REALLY taxed me emotionally.

Not once have I been dogpiled by right-wing weirdos on here. As an academic, that's a huge deal. One did try to chase me down for that op-ed I wrote the other day on free speech under attack in Texas, and he had to resort to email, the poor soul.

Cadillac Ranch, in Texas. We try so hard to topple the bastards from office. We get close. Voter morale is in the toilet. Turnout is abysmal. They keep making it harder to vote. But don't let anyone tell you we all like having Greg Abbott in charge. We won't stop fighting either
