Oh wow. No, that’s the last thing I am looking for in a good pop album is a boring old warble-fest.

Ouch! Hope you’re alright? Did you get all your jags?

I hadn’t realised the Strathbungo one was only on tonight. Seems a shame to put in all that effort for a single day.

You need a PA to keep you right. 😆

It's great, even just to get to snoop about the building a bit.

York is nice - some good pubs for nice food and cosy atmosphere and a walk around the city walls is fun if you're into that sort of thing.
I also hear Bath is lovely. Never been but my husband raves about it.

The reddit sub r/shortcuts is full of people making weird and wacky and sometimes useful things with iOS Shortcuts. I think they're more utilised than you might realise.
Also, Matthew Cassinelli is the iOS Shortcuts god. Checkout his website: matthewcassinelli.com

Your images are absolutely beautiful. I’m in awe.

I love this. The way the light hits the centre of the junction of the paths is like a stage ready to receive its performers.

What an awesome shot. Well done!

Oh! Hahaha. I thought there was something more to it.

It's significantly easier to make them on macOS, but then there's the issue of mismatched apps between macOS and iOS.

What is @water.community? I've checked out the feed but I don't understand what it is.

I'm sure by process of elimination you could work through each of the types of things that can be received through the share sheet and see which one breaks the Shortcut to save photos from Safari to Files.

That part shouldn't impact what is passed through the Shortcut when it's used through the share sheet. I think it's more likely due to the 'Receive' part - you've reduced what the Shortcut received from the share sheet to Images and 2 more, I just leave mine at all of them selected.

I just whipped up this Shortcut for you. That'll let you share an image from Safari. Just long press on the image, press share, then select the Shortcut 'Save Photo From Safari To Files' and choose where you want to save it.

Oh no I agree, I mean I need the enforced structure to keep me right otherwise it’s all tits up. In order to be productive in any way shape or form I need the plan laid out otherwise it’s not happening. I literally have three wall calendars at home to keep me right and my phone is full of lists.

Same. I’m a man of routine and structure and being able to organise and prep and know what’s planned ahead for the week is just 👌.

I love that street. It’s hard to get a photo that does the beauty of it justice. Here’s one I took when it was a bit brighter out.

These are all amazing! I'm going to steal a few. Already an avid iOS Shortcuts user. I've never heard of Manual of Me until now though - I just checked out the website and it seems awesome! What a great idea.

I tried to do this. Quick tip, don't bother using Buffer to do it. It flat out times out every single time. Hugely annoying.

This is awesome. The Skeets app has Shortcuts integration though if you're not wanting to tamper with the API yourself.

It's really fun! But it makes me think that you'll come out with a set of dentures that are comedically large.

Ah this is awesome! It doesn't seem to be available on macOS though which is a shame.

I'm interested in coming along to this but I've never been to a book club. What is expected of attendees?

I love this spot in Queens Park when the leaves are all different colours. I took a similar one in the same place back in Autumn.

I agree on the non-Apple vibe it has. It feels a bit too experimental but I've gotten my head around which Shortcuts will work without issue and which ones I can not worry too much about if they fail. Anything that falls outside of those two categories I take well outside of Shortcuts.

Quitting the booze has been the best thing I have ever done. You won't believe how much more productive and clear-headed you become after a few months without it.

Awesome use case. iOS Shortcuts is really powerful when other apps and services incorporate its features into them.

Ah I thought so - it’s been a while since I used a phone with a notch. With the Dynamic Island the Shortcut icon or the icon of the app being controlled by Shortcuts appears and is swapped out each time the app being controlled changes. It’s quite nice actually.
