@saffronolive.bsky.social I feel like Songcrafter Mage should be able to do something crazy with X cost spells. The dumbest I’ve come up with is Songcrafter Mage + Woodcaller Automaton + Doppelgang should go infinite in the right circumstances. Anything more reasonable you can think of?

tfw you’re setting an overly constrained crossword and you get a bunch of long entries to fit together perfectly in a way you’re fairly certain makes the rest of the grid unfillable. >.<

The other thing that’s caught me out lately is that apparently I never internalised the fact that くわしい, くやしい and くるしい are different words. Two of them have similar meanings but I guess I was just interpreting くわしい as meaning “in painful detail” and not noticing that it was different?

Japanese that’s tripping me up lately: 流 is read as “ryuu”, and means a flow or current 行 is read as “kou” and means going 流行 is read as “ryuukou” and means trend or fad - not too bad so far 流行る *also* means trend, but it’s read as “hayaru” Which is apparently unrelated to any other reading.
