Takeaways from the great Berkeley tsunami: - any evacuation will be a nightmare because of cars. The roads toward the hills were clogged. - bike is far superior: ride around traffic, cut thru tighter spaces/take dirt roads etc, but - super-distracted drivers are still threat #1

Almost 100 miles of riding this weekend. Best driver: the Waymo that gave me 3+'. Worst driver: probably the lady confused by the Ashby/Greenway lights who stopped right on the crosswalk. Or the guy on Mandela who yelled at me/almost hit me when I had the right of way. All-in-all, a good weekend!
