I think that's a really good point. When I used to drive I used to leave much later than I needed to, because I can just make up the time by speeding a little, right? Then of course when the traffic comes: "this is injustice against me personally."

This is a big reason I stay away from a lot of media outlets. Stop treating idiots with terrible ideas with respect and call out their terrible ideas for what they are.

As someone who hates himself and goes on NextDoor from time to time, I've noticed a lot of unhinged/hyperbolic NIMBY posts are getting called out as such quite a lot more. I bet this national election accelerates the anti-NIMBY trend.

My biggest issue through there has been people thinking the entire street+bike lanes are for passenger pickup 🙃
