As technologically advanced as our species has become, when a CoPilot update breaks Microsoft Word and you realize no other document service has a dark mode, it's a humbling reminder we've got a long way to go.

Team I'm unironically feeling baseball-level "what are we doing" emotions for my Birdies(?) rn, have I been indoctrinated or is this actually working

The day of the car crash, if someone told me I'd get to watch Tiger be there for his son's ace at the PNC, I think I'd be pretty happy with that outcome. Cat rules.

Today in mini tour golf: my playing partner and I are in the same divot off the first tee

Sometimes I think the whole "single guys live like idiots" thing is overplayed, and then I remember my toilet broke and I've been taking the back off and manually pulling the chain to flush it. And I've just decided that's an acceptable way to live. For like ten days now.

Sicksicksicksicksicksicksick

Just spent the last hour doing a bunch of math and drawing sharpie lines on a fiberglass stick, love this silly game I play

Great to know I'm gonna have this "Rory just lost the US Open" feeling for the next fifteen years

Not sure I've listened to anything other than the new Opeth record since it came out. Ranking music always seems silly, but they might just do it straight-up better than most bands. And Mikael's first growls since 2008! Next-level songwriting, lots to discover listen after listen. Exceptional.

The shuttle from parking to the event uses the bus TV screens to run ads with the volume cranked. Watching a frequent flier TV spot for the second time on a five minute trip...

However tall you think Christo Lamprecht is, add a foot

Not risking any jinxes so just suggesting to follow along the last two holes for yourselves, the golf is good. Cheers. For unjinxable coverage: I've seen at least five different brands of these wire protector things. I find this strange and otherwise don't know what to make of it. That is all.

Modeled well by ZB here: the three times your hands are near your spine angle (backswing in yellow, downswing in green, through in red), the shaft should be in a pretty similar spot. Getting this to line up well means you're staying on plane and don't need extra movement/manipulation.

A nasty 35yd bunker shot dead into the wind. Coverted a 12 footer for par. One hell of a save. A big enough swing to need some lower body movement, but still great low point control. The more you look at the details, the more impressive these guys are.

Cannot imagine what just compelled Joel Dahmen to take off a layer, but his 55 footer just caught a LOT of hole, so I guess it's working. Maybe should shed another one?

Through 5: - Guys look completely unbothered by the conditions. Crazy level of execution to make comfy pars and an occasional birdie in this wind. - I've forgotten these guys are effectively playing for cards today like ten times. Vibes are chill. Group is chatty. Both are so, so cool to watch.

First three holes have taken 50 minutes. Now another wait on 4 tee coming off a par 3. Wondering if field sizes aren't the problem... Getting into an exposed stretch of the course. Battling!

Following the Bryan, Blair, Dahmen group today. Currently projected 125, 126, and 127 in FedEx Cup. All within 2 shots of projected cut. Models say 45* and blowing 16-28. Getting #uncomfortable. Test of spirit today!
